What We’re Looking For in a Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Scrum Master to work closely with the Senior Project Manager, as well as gaining exposure across the business by partnering with the ControlPlane team and its clients.

This is a wonderful chance to help facilitate the continued success of ControlPlane by remotely supporting the team and allowing everyone to use their time in the most efficient way.

Our Scrum Master will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will also have small business or start-up experience in a tech company, and be comfortable performing a variety of duties with tech savviness being a must. We work on London time and have employees based in Europe and North America. Roles, Responsibilities and Requirements of Our Scrum Master:

• Foster Agile ways of working
• Lead the team in best practices and ceremonies, and coach the teams on how to work within the Agile framework
• Manage project effort, and track timings, resources, and individual workloads
• Support the Senior Project Manager with requirements gathering, epic scoping, status and risk reporting, and documentation creation
• Improve current workflows, create project transparency and sync with engineering for regular updates
• Help manage and organise our JIRA and related systems
• Reporting

Our Scrum Master Will Have These Preferred or Specific Skills:

• Qualified Scrum Master with 3+ years of experience
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile approaches, Kanban and Scrum
• Experience of having worked in R&D and having managed multiple Agile teams
• Experience of JIRA, Confluence and any other Project Management tools
• Experience of having worked with change management and team transformations
• Strong organisational, planning, multi-tasking and time management skills
• A proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills – excellent English language skills at a native or fluent level
• A focussed team player with a “can do” attitude and excellent attention to detail
• Experience analysing general technical documentation, developing internal processes, and cataloging information
• A proud technology user and early-adopter who is superb with Google Workspace (GSuite) applications, MS Office Suite and other office productivity tools, and has an aptitude to learn new software and systems
• Ability to act with total discretion, diplomacy and show sound judgement in responding to complex circumstances
• An enthusiastic, consummate professional who enjoys a challenge
